On April 18th of this year, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Financial Monitoring Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chief Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The document was signed by Mr. Zaur Fatizada, the Chairman of the Executive Board of FMS and Mr. Nazim Rajabov, the Deputy Prosecutor General - Head of the General Department.

By signing Memorandum of Understanding, a regular and effective information and experience exchange mechanism will be established between the two entities in the field of fight against the legalization of criminally obtained property and combating the financing of terrorism, joint activities between the parties will be coordinated and cooperation will be strengthened.
