Memorandum of Understanding signed between the financial intelligence units of Azerbaijan and Palestine
 
On July 5, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the prevention of the legalization of criminally obtained property, related predicate crimes and the financing of terrorism was signed in Abu-Dhabi within the framework of the Egmont Group plenary meetings between the Financial Monitoring Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan (FMS) and the Financial Follow-up Unit of Palestine (FFU).
The purpose of signing the memorandum is to further strengthen mutually beneficial relations between the two institutions, as well as to develop an efficient exchange of information in the field of AML/CFT. Thus, the historically diplomatic relations between the two countries will be facilitated in the field of AML/CFT entering a new stage.
