The Financial Monitoring Service to organize sequential training for monitoring participants

On 29th November of the current year Financial Monitoring Service has held training on topics “Criteria and typologies for detection of suspicious transactions in the sphere of AML/CFT” and “Application of a risk-based approach in the sphere of AML/CFT- Internal risk assessment” for employees of monitoring participants.

The training focused on the tools and services used in the AML/CFT sphere, monitoring and indicators of operations, identifying risk criteria according to the enterprise profile, compliance requirements for software, countries/regions with weak control mechanisms, and other important issues.

The purpose of the training was to strengthen the capacity of monitoring participants to identify suspicious transactions and apply a risk-based approach.

The training was attended by 31 participants.
