The Financial Monitoring Service (FMS) actively participated in the Global Financial Intelligence Leadership Conference held on October 14–15, 2025, in Bern, Switzerland, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening international cooperation and advancing innovation in the field of financial intelligence.
The Service was represented by Deputy Chairman of the Board Mr. Azer Abbasov, who engaged in high-level discussions with counterparts from various jurisdictions and international organizations. The knowledge and experience acquired will support ongoing efforts to further modernize the FMS’s analytical capabilities, enhance risk-based supervision, and increase the effectiveness of preventive mechanisms.
The event also facilitated dialogue with senior representatives of the Swiss Financial Intelligence Unit and the Egmont Group, providing additional opportunities to reinforce the Service’s role within the global financial intelligence community.
