The Financial Monitoring Service convened a meeting on February 26th, 2024, to mark the 32nd anniversary of the Khojaly massacre, a tragic event in the history of Azerbaijan. 

The meeting served as an opportunity to honor the memory of the victims and reflect on the significance of this solemn occasion. The meeting commenced with a moment of silence to pay tribute to the innocent lives lost during the Khojaly massacre. 

Mr. Zaur Fatizada, Chairman of the Executive Board, delivered a speech during the meeting, emphasizing the condemnation of the Khojaly massacre as a grave violation of human rights and international humanitarian law. Mr. Fatizada underscored the importance of remembering the victims and called for justice and accountability for the atrocities committed. 

In a gesture of remembrance and solidarity, a video dedicated to the tragedy was screened at the conclusion of the meeting.
