The delegation of FMS participated in the event dedicated to commemoration day of National Leader Heydar Aliyev

On December 13 of the current year, representatives of the Financial Monitoring Service participated in the event dedicated to the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, organized by the Permanent Representation of Azerbaijan to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France.

The event started with a minute's silence in memory of the Great Leader. Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the Council of Europe, Fakhreddin Ismayilov, spoke about the effects of the National Leader on the development of our country in the fields of state building, economy, science and education.

He said that in 1993, when the people of Azerbaijan entrusted their destiny to the Great Leader again, the path leading the country to economic progress, political progress and cultural renaissance in the most difficult periods of Azerbaijan's history was one of the achievements of Heydar Aliyev's visionary policy.

At the event, the documentary film "Heart of a Leader" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, authored by Mikhail Gusman, the first deputy director general of TASS Information Agency, was demonstrated.
