On June 5, 2025, an online training session was conducted by Fuad Aliyev, an expert from the Financial Monitoring Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, for representatives of relevant law enforcement and supervisory authorities.

The training focused on Recommendation 8 of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) — protecting non-profit organizations from the risk of terrorist financing — and Immediate Outcome 10, which assesses the effectiveness and responsibilities of competent authorities in this area.

Participants were also briefed on the new obligations arising from the recent amendments made by FATF to Recommendation 8 and Immediate Outcome 10.

The presentation covered key international standards, national legal frameworks, and practical aspects of applying a risk-based approach. Attendees engaged in discussions on existing challenges and international best practices, and shared recommendations aimed at strengthening inter-agency cooperation in this field.
