On July 19th of this year, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Financial Monitoring Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan and State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of The Republic of Azerbaijan.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Zaur Fatizada, the Chairman of the Executive Board of FMS and Mr. Orkhan Nazarli, the Head of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.

By signing Memorandum of Understanding, a regular and effective information and experience exchange mechanism will be established between the two entities in the field of fight against the legalization of criminally obtained property and combating the financing of terrorism, joint activities between the parties will be coordinated and cooperation will be strengthened.
