A conference titled "Financial Control as a Guarantee for the Protection of Constitutional Rights of the State and Private Sector" was held at Azerbaijan State University of Economics. During the event, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Financial Monitoring Service, Mr. Azer Abbasov, delivered a speech.

In the opening of the conference, dedicated to the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty," Rector of Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Mr. Adalat Muradov, highlighted the crucial role of financial control in safeguarding the rights of both the state and the private sector. The conference featured speeches by Minister of Finance, Mr. Sahil Babayev, Head of the State Tax Service Orkhan Nazarli, Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee Natiq Shirinov, and other senior officials. They discussed ongoing reforms, future prospects, and various aspects of financial control.

In his presentation titled "Combating AML/CTF as a Key Factor of National Financial Security," Mr. Azer Abbasov emphasized that fighting against money laundering and terrorist financing is an integral part of national financial security. He noted that measures taken in this area contribute to the establishment of a sustainable and transparent financial system.

The conference was attended by representatives of government agencies, faculty members of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), members of the Chamber of Auditors, and representatives of the Azerbaijan Economists' Union.
