In a collaborative effort, the Financial Monitoring Service and the Ministry of Justice organized a comprehensive training session for judges on December 4 of the current year. The event, titled "Description of Property Legalization, Proof, and Special Confiscation Issues," took place at the Academy of Justice under the Ministry of Justice.
Led by experts in the field, Nurlan Babayev and Aytan Mirzazade of FMS, the training delved into crucial topics surrounding property legalization and special confiscation. The insightful presentations covered "International Standards on the Act of Legalization of Property and the National Approach to the Description of this Act" and "Confiscation of Property Obtained Through Crime: International Standards and the Current Situation in Our Country."
The sessions provided judges with valuable insights into both global benchmarks and the local context, offering a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and nuances associated with property legalization and special confiscation.
The training, attended by a total of 20 participants, concluded with an interactive Q&A session where the judges had the opportunity to seek clarification and discuss specific points of interest.
