On December 7 of this year, Fuad Aliyev, representative of the Financial Monitoring Service, participated in the second Project Steering Committee Meeting of the European Union and Council of Europe Partnership for Good Governance (PGG) Program III "Prevention and fight against economic crimes in Azerbaijan".

In his speech, Fuad Aliyev talked about the importance of the events held within the framework of the project during the year and gave his recommendations for improving the work of the project in the future.

The work carried out under the action plan of the project was reviewed, brief information was given about the planned actions in the future, and general discussions were held at the meeting attended by the head of the Baku office of the Council of Europe, members of the representative office, representatives of law enforcement, supervisory and judicial authorities, as well as other relevant officers.

It should be noted that the mentioned project was specially designed to respond to local needs in the field of combating corruption, money laundering, terrorist financing and asset recovery.
