On October 22, 2024, a joint training session for representatives of non-profit organizations (NPOs) was organized by the Financial Monitoring Service (FMS) and the Ministry of Justice.

Fuad Aliyev, an experienced expert from the FMS, delivered a presentation titled “Risk-Based Supervision for Non-Profit Organizations” and highlighted key aspects of risk assessment. Ms. Zarifa Hasanli further elaborated on the risks related to the financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, providing detailed guidance on necessary preventive measures.

The session concluded with trainers addressing questions from participants, fostering a deeper understanding of the discussed topics.

Representatives from the Ministry of Justice and various NPOs actively participated in the training, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts to mitigate financial risks in the sector.
