On October 9, 2024, the Financial Monitoring Service (FMS) of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized the "International Forum of Financial Intelligence Units of Turkic States" in Shusha, Azerbaijan.

The event brought together the Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council, representatives from the financial intelligence units of member and observer countries of the Organization, as well as other distinguished guests.

Prior to the event, the guests visited the Alley of Honors to pay their respects to Heydar Aliyev, the great son of the Turkic world and the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people. They laid wreaths and placed fresh flowers at his grave.

Additionally, flowers were placed at the grave of the prominent ophthalmologist and academician, Zarifa Aliyeva, in tribute to her memory.
