On October 31, 2025, the Financial Monitoring Department of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy held a meeting with more than 35 reporting entities on the topic “Current Situation and Challenges in AML/CFT (Combating Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism).”

The event focused on discussing the current situation in the AML/CFT field, recent amendments to the relevant legislation, and the practical challenges faced by reporting entities.

During the meeting, Nilufar Abdullayeva, representative of the Financial Monitoring Service, actively participated in the discussions and played an important role in addressing questions raised by reporting entities. She provided clarifications on several AML/CFT-related issues and contributed to the exchange of views on improving compliance practices.

Following the presentations by representatives of the State Tax Service, participants engaged in an interactive discussion, where reporting entities shared their perspectives and proposals on addressing existing challenges in the AML/CFT framework.
